Server Rules

NOTICE

With our servers being under continued development, our rules are going to constantly be changed to fit the needs of the community. Our rules are here to be followed as guidelines, to make sure everyone in the community has a fair and fun time. It is required that you read the rules below and fully understand them before playing.

▫️ Staff reserve the right to remove anyone at any given time with or without providing evidence. Staff will always prioritize Roleplay over "Roleplay".

▫️ Here at Zion Roleplay, we strive to be unique from other servers and have a high standard of roleplay. Everyone follows the rules, including the staff.

▫️ It is important to understand that even though a rule isn't specifically written for certain actions, it might still be punishable.

Roleplay Rules

Random Deathmatch

Randomly killing or harming another player without good roleplay. RDM is more focused on random players killing off one another. Both players should have the knowledge and expectation that a serious event like that would occur, should it occur.

Vehicle Deathmatch

Purposely harming another player using vehicles. VDM that occurred with motive or even in escaping or other scenarios is not allowed. VDM by accident will not be taken into account if it is conveyed that it was not made purposefully within the Roleplay.

Metagaming

· The use of information that your character has not learned through RP is not allowed.

· Gathering info from streams, or other platforms etc. will also be considered as metagaming

Combat Logging

· Combat logging is defined as disconnecting from the server ,with the intention of avoiding any form of RP and is strictly prohibited . This includes disconnecting to avoid death,combat, arrest, medical attention, or any other form of RP.

Lore Break

· Lore breaking is when a character breaks lore , which is anything that likely affects a character or scenario . That means a player intentionally breaking other players rp situation.

Fear RP

· FearRP is the basic things and should consider seriously in RP scenarios.
· Kindly take Fear RP seriously. You should avoid situations that makes your life in danger.
· You cannot kidnap a hostage in front of a police . You should value your life when you are trying to kidnap anyone as you may lose your life or the hostage may lose his life.
· Fear RP among people will also differ based on the locations. For ex: You have to show fear RP when you are arrested and when you are in PD. You need not to show fear RP when you are in your Gang area or with your Gang Mates.(not while you're alone)
·All heists should have a proper plan behind them. For example, providing little to no chase then engaging in a shoot-out or sending it into the water would be considered no intention to roleplay.

Out Of Character/ME command

· OOC should only be used when there is extreme neccesity like when an ZIONYX teleports and asks to explain the sitution or there is complety rp stoping issues.that cannot be handle ingame :
· Use /ooc if you face any kinds of bugs or anything unusual.
· The /me command must be used for roleplay purposes only. This command can be used to express anything that cannot be seen through your eyes during roleplay.
· Example: Giving evidence of a scene that shouldn't be able to , showing facial expressions, actions that don't have an emote,etc.
· Respond if someone uses /me on you. Example: If someone takes you as a hostage and the person types /me "taking radio and mobile",you have to respond to that command and shouldn't use it.

New Life Rule

* A new life starts when you airlift to hospital or subsequently revive after being downed in a situation.

*Your character will forget the last 15 minutes (in real-time) and ALL the information/events leading up to your death. You cannot return near the location of your death /for the same situation for the next 15 minutes (in real-time). You can NEVER become reinvolved with the situation that led to your death.

*All forms of gore roleplay are prohibited unless all parties that are involved have a local OOC agreement.

Power Gaming

Power Gaming is strictly prohibited .

*This is when you aim to maximize progress towards a specific goal, to the exclusion of other considerations such as storytelling (roleplay) and atmosphere. Examples are: Completely restricting a person's ability to interact with the environment or situation. Shooting through the back of a car that has no rear window.

*Misusing your power.Ex;Your job specifics,Admin previleages etc.

Drive-By Rules

Suppress Fire is required in Drive-By also.

When you are driving you (in driving seat ) firing is not allowed . Co passengers can shoot from vehicles while drive.

Cop baiting/Civilian provoking

Cop baiting/Provoking is not allowed. Baiting for the sake of a gunfight is not considered roleplay.A few examples of baiting are: doing EMOTES around the police to provoke a reaction, robbing a gas station only to start a gunfight, and standing on top of somebody's car without any RP to get a reaction from the owner.

Revenge Roleplay

Revengeful mindset are not tolerated. Just because Your Rp didn't end in your favour doesn't mean that you should get offended Outside Of Character Such Unmatured characters and Unhealthy vengeful Mindset among other Players are not allowed and most importantly toxicity regarding the same.

Exploiting

Purposely exploiting anything for personal benefit such as exploiting a bug or glitch is strictly prohibited and will result in severe consequences[Permanent Ban].

Verbal Abuse

Verbally Abusing other players with unparliamentary words will not be tolerated affected party can raise the Ticket if those words have hurt them.

Common Decency

As community members it's expected that players will treat each other with common decency. Everyone in this community should feel welcome as we try to promote a positive environment. No matter what background someone comes from. any form of out-of-character discrimination is forbidden and can result in a community ban if severe enough .

Go as flow of RP.

Everything in RP will not go as per your expectations. There might be Fail RPs committed by the opposite party During the scenario. Go with the flow ,In-case of any Fail RPs / don't overcome of Rules by the opposition , with saying this "its FRP bro". Instead of this go with the flow and try to make the scenario better.

TORTURE RP:

Repeatedly targeting a Player and making them feel uncomfortable through words or actions, making a person wait for a long time for the sake of your RP ( Exceeding 30 MIN) will not be tolerated and considered as failRP.
